Does waxing hurt?

Pain varies from person to person. With your first wax (never been waxed before) you may experience discomfort, however if you stick to a consistent waxing routine and follow the after care system in between your appointments, the discomfort will be less every visit.

How long does my hair have to be to get waxed?

For effective hair removal, we suggest that your hair be at least 1/4 of an inch long which is about the length of a grain of rice.

Do you use hard wax or soft wax?

Soft Wax (or wax with strip cloths) are use only for the eyebrow area. All other areas, the hair is removed using hard wax (or stripless wax).

What should I do before I get my wax?

2-3 days prior to your visit we recommend doing a gentle exfoliation on the area that is to be waxed. On the day of, take a shower with lukewarm water to open your pores and avoid wearing tight clothing. We do not suggest putting on any lotions, oils, deodorant on the area that is to be waxed prior to your appointment.

I have sensitive skin, will waxing break me out?

Irritation may occur, however please be sure to express your concerns with your wax specialist and adhere to the post-care instructions given by your wax specialist.

Can I get waxed if I’m pregnant?

Absolutely! However, please be sure to speak with your family physician before scheduling your appointment.

How often should I get waxed?

Brazilian/Larger body areas – every 3-6 weeks

Facial Waxing/Smaller body area – every 2-3 weeks

Do you use hard wax or soft wax?

Soft wax is only used for eyebrow & lip services.

All other areas we use hard wax.
